Chef Driven Season 2 premier!!!

I am very excited to announce that (unbeknownst to me ;D) Chef Driven Season 2 has premiered on Rocky Mountain PBS! I joined the film crew for a second time around as the sound mixer this time (summer 2015) and was very grateful for the entire experience! This show combines three of my loves; food, travel and film! Meet farmers, explore where different foods come from and how they are prepared as we travel internationally: http://www.rmpbs.org/chefdriven/

After the presidential inauguration of Donald Trump it was like clockwork when the supposed anti-war left emerged out of their caves while the small-government right went back into hiding. It took a bit of getting used to (from all sides) when he won the election, but since then, and after his first address to a joint session this past Tuesday night, it looks like the country is still divided (superficially at least) in getting to where we need to ultimately get. One great hindrance on what is holding America back from reaching its true potential is identity politics; many of us are still addicted to clinging to our identity through our political party or politicians instead of embracing a good idea: liberty.

And meanwhile, global capital is too often unaccountable — nearly $8 trillion stashed away in tax havens, and a shadow banking system that grows beyond the reach of effective oversight. A world in which one percent of humanity controls as much wealth as the other 99 percent will never be stable.”

R.I.P Sheesha

DSC_0485

This week our dog, Sheesha passed away. She was battling a very fast and aggressive lymphoma cancer and lost the battle in our arms. She was the sweetest dog ever and enriched our family’s life beyond words. She was with us from the beginning and gave us so many lovely memories to cherish. We miss her spirit so much. When she passed I  stayed up all night with her and wrote a letter. If you read it you may understand just a little bit what an amazing creature she was…

The EU was a contrivance of a 1955 Bilderberg meeting

EU Flag via Wikipedia.org

Today Britain is voting on remaining in the European Union or exiting it—taking a “Brexit.” But why would you leave the EU behind, Britain? That is just simply unpatriotic and according to the corporate press, the EU bureaucrats, the politicians, the elitists, the international bankers, and all the cool, sexy people, it would be a disaster!!!!!!! Economic ruin will be on its way along with World War III!!!!! Just take a look at Switzerland. Their free markets and fair trade have made them one of the richest nations in Europe—are they apart of the EU? Oh, wait, I guess they’re not.
